Beyond the Lesson
· Lesson Feedback-you receive feedback after each lesson detailing the focus of the lesson, any new language picked up, a summary of the main linguistic areas covered (skills and systems-including lexical items), comments and suggestions for overall direction you can take in future lessons and comments designed to introduce some ‘banter’ to assist in maintaining rapport between trainer and learner
· Direction to Accuracy Work-consistent errors need attention We provide you with practice on these areas
-Grammar Banks-where sentence level structural forms can be practised and reference material is included
-Lexical Banks-including topic-based lists and exercises to practice lexis from the themes covered in lessons and to help you expand this
-Functional Banks. For further practice of functional language and to act as a reference point for such language
· Writing Corner- a bank of model texts and extra practice in e.g. writing emails, reports etc.
· Pronunciation Corner-extra practice of phonemes and other features of pronunciation causing problems in effective communication
· Text Banks-extra listening and reading practice including Case Studies-industry specific worksheets and texts
· Learning Links- direction to internet links from the topic areas covered
· Culture Profile- information and exercises on doing business in other culture
