Speaking Evaluation
In conjunction with the Oxford Online Placement Test, you can be assessed on your ability to communicate using spoken English. This will help us to place you at the right level and to identify areas you need to improve to meet your learning objectives. This phase  is highly recommended because the focus of our lessons is on improving your speaking and listening skills. You are assessed on your performance in a number of areas of your ability to communicate orally about your professional and personal life. The assessor awards marks according to five analytical criteria. You are also awarded a mark for your global achievement during the test

Lexico-grammatical Accuracy 
This refers to your ability to produce, accurately and appropriately, a range of grammatical and lexical forms. You will be assessed not only on the accurate choice of individual words but also on how well you choose words that frequently occur together 

Lexico-grammatical Range 
This refers to your ability to use a number of different grammatical and vocabulary items appropriately in stretches of spoken language. Your ability to vary the structures you have at your command   

Pronunciation 
This describes your ability to produce intelligible utterances and includes stress and intonation patterns, as well as your use of individual sounds. The overall impact of your pronunciation on communicating your message is assessed, as well as the degree of effort required by the listener to understand what you say

Discourse Management 
This refers to your ability to link phrases and sentences together to form coherent speech and without hesitation interfering with the flow of the communicative interaction. What you say should be arranged logically and you be invited to develop themes into longer stretches of speech 

Communicative Competence 
This refers to your ability to take an active part in the development of discourse. You are assessed on their ability to take part in an evolving interactive situation and to develop discussion by initiating and responding appropriately.Performance here is viewed in terms of overall effectiveness of the language used in transmitting the desired message orally. 

Global Impression 
This refers to overall effectiveness of your performance as viewed from the assessor’s perspective
